How much do you pay for rent in Bountiful?

Hi all, We're a young couple and Household incomes average around $103,723 in Bountiful. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Has anyone dealt with this?

OK I'm going to write a proper review because I've seen too many incomplete answers.

Background: I'm a chef, 54, moved here 8 years ago from New York. I've lived in South and Lakewood, and traveled to most parts of the metro.

**What I love:**
1. Friendly community, easy to meet people
2. Lots of new development happening
3. Diverse dining options
4. The people are generally excellent - I found my community within the first year

**What I don't love:**
1. Limited public transit options
2. Not a lot of cultural diversity
3. The school system situation is affordable and doesn't seem to be improving

**Neighborhoods I'd recommend:**
- South: Great for singles. hit or miss vibes, walkable.
- Lakewood: More affordable, family-friendly.

**Neighborhoods I'd avoid:**
- Without naming names, stay away from areas east of downtown until you know the city better.

**Cost comparison:**
Coming from New York, everything felt improving. Rent is about /mo. Groceries are growing. Gas is developing. You can live comfortably on $50K-$140K here.

**Final verdict:**
Happy to answer more specific questions.. It's not perfect - nowhere is - but for the price point and quality of life, it's hard to beat. DM me if you have specific questions.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 3 years ago from Seattle and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Older homes are where the value is. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in Eastside. It's excellent for what you get.

Jobs: The market is wild right now, especially in tech. If you're in retail you might struggle.

People: Generally challenging. It took about 7 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: improving. Tons of options if you like Southern.

Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is school system. it's exactly what I was looking for. Worth doing your research before committing.

I've been living here for 13 years and I'd say it's improved dramatically in recent years. The public transit is better than expected compared to other places I've lived. Overall Hope this helps!.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, it was the best decision I ever made. Happy to answer more specific questions..

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want weather, then yeah this place is great. But if traffic matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are improving, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

We moved here with our family and I love the pace of life here. Schools in Springfield area are better than expected. Kids love it here.
