Anyone regret moving to Bowie?

Been living here since 2015. Homes are going for about $442,000 on average. The unemployment rate is 3.3%, which is pretty low. The median home value here is around $442,000, which is pretty steep. With a population of 57,771, Bowie is a smaller city. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. I'm a physical therapist and I've found I have mixed feelings honestly. The community is surprisingly good and there's always something going on.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, it's improved dramatically in recent years. No regrets on my end..

Hot take but I have mixed feelings honestly. I know a lot of people disagree but after 5 years here, that's my honest assessment.
