Dog-friendly places in Bowie?
Been meaning to ask this. I'm a teacher here and It's a a smaller city city with about 57,771 people. Poverty rate is 3.0%, which is pretty low. The median home value here is around $442,000, which is pretty steep. Rent is about $2,240/month for a decent place. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The weather takes some getting used to. What do you all think? Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The suburbs are where most families end up. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The food scene here is surprisingly good.
