Should I move to Bowling Green or stay in Indianapolis?
Not sure if this has been asked before, but I work in automotive and Poverty rate is 17.2%, which is higher than I expected. Household incomes average around $48,419 in Bowling Green. Median household income is $48,419, which feels on the lower side for the area. With a population of 73,638, Bowling Green is a smaller city. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The suburbs are where most families end up. The weather takes some getting used to. Thoughts? Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The city has invested a lot in new development. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.
