Hey folks, We have two kids and With a population of 73,638, Bowling Green is a smaller city. Homes are going for about $232,100 on average. Median household income is $48,419, which feels on the lower side for the area. Rent is about $948/month for a decent place. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. What do you all think? The food scene here is surprisingly good. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The suburbs are where most families end up.
