Hey, I work in healthcare and It's a a smaller city city with about 30,051 people. Crime rate is something to consider -Bowling Green sits at 116.7 per 100K. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. What do you all think? Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem hit or miss.
I've been here 9 years and it exceeded my expectations. The thing nobody mentions is cost of living. It's developing and it affects daily life more than you'd think.
That said, the healthcare is legit. And if you're into kayaking, this place is solid.
Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Lakewood side vs the Midtown side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
Hope this helps!.

I've been living here for 9 years and I'd say I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The weather is challenging compared to other places I've lived. Overall No regrets on my end..

Bought a house here in 2020 and there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Property values have gone down slightly since then.

We moved here with our family and it's exactly what I was looking for. Schools in Sunset area are better than expected. Kids love it here.

Hot take but the quality of life is solid. I know a lot of people disagree but after 6 years here, that's my honest assessment.
