Moving to Bowling Green for work -advice?

I'm retired and Homes are going for about $217,300 on average. You can expect to pay around $874 for rent here. Poverty rate is 12.9%, which is around average. The city has invested a lot in new development. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. What do you all think? Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The city has invested a lot in new development. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The city has invested a lot in new development. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.
