Dog-friendly places in Boyce?

Not sure if this has been asked before, but I've been here for 7 years and Homes are going for about $83,600 on average. Household incomes average around $36,250 in Boyce. Rent is about $848/month for a decent place. Poverty rate is 22.8%, which is higher than I expected. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Has anyone dealt with this? Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The suburbs are where most families end up. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The food scene here is surprisingly good. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The suburbs are where most families end up. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. We moved here with our family and there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Schools in Oak Park area are solid. Kids love it here.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

Hot take but it's not perfect but it works for me. I know a lot of people disagree but after 8 years here, that's my honest assessment.
