Is Boynton Beach worth moving to in 2026?

Anyone else feel this way? Been living here since 2020. With a population of 80,601, Boynton Beach is a smaller city. Poverty rate is 8.6%, which is pretty low. Household incomes average around $71,378 in Boynton Beach. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The weather takes some getting used to. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Worth the trade-offs? Thanks! There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. I've lived in South for about 7 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it was the best decision I ever made. When I first moved here from Portland, I was surprised by pet-friendliness. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Active local events and festivals
- Close to major attractions
- The nightlife scene is tough

The downsides:
- Property taxes are high
- Limited entertainment options

Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for remote workers. Hope this helps!.

I'm a accountant and I've found I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The community is decent and there's always something going on.
