Is public transit usable in Boynton Beach?

So, The median home value here is around $312,700, which seems about average. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.

I've lived in Uptown for about 2 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's improved dramatically in recent years. When I first moved here from Boston, I was surprised by school system. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Lots of new development happening
- The community vibe scene is decent

The downsides:
- Summers can be brutally hot
- Homeless population growing downtown

Overall I'd rate it 9/10 for couples. Happy to answer more specific questions..

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a HR manager who relocated here from Phoenix about 13 years ago. The main reasons were my partner's job and my partner's job.

Pros I've experienced:
- Decent public transit for the size
- Strong sense of community
- Lots of family-friendly activities

Cons that are real:
- Chain restaurants dominate
- Limited entertainment options

Financially, we've found it hit or miss compared to where we came from. Older homes are where the value is. Groceries are established, gas is better than expected.

Socially, it exceeded my expectations. Feel free to reach out with questions..

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. I'm still on the fence after all this time. Internet is excellent in most areas.
