Hey, Military spouse here. The median home value here is around $312,700, which seems about average. Homes are going for about $312,700 on average. Average temperature is around 76--F, so it's warm year-round. Household incomes average around $71,378 in Boynton Beach. The unemployment rate is 3.2%, which is pretty low. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.

Pros:
- Affordable cost of living
- Low crime in most areas
- Good healthcare facilities
- Strong sense of community
- Good internet infrastructure

Cons:
- Hot summers
- Mosquitoes and humidity
- Far from major airports
- Chain restaurants dominate
- Not enough green space
What do you all think? People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The suburbs are where most families end up. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Property taxes are high but you get good services. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.

Public transit is hit or miss here. You'll probably need a car for most things. it exceeded my expectations.

Weather-wise, the summers are underrated and winters are established. You get used to it after the first year.

Used to live on the Maple Ridge side, now on the The Heights side. Completely different vibe. I love the pace of life here.
