Job hunting in Bozeman -tips?

Longtime lurker here, I've been here for 9 years and Rent is about $1,611/month for a decent place. It's a a smaller city city with about 55,042 people. The unemployment rate is 2.2%, which is pretty low. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Property taxes are high but you get good services. What are your go-to spots? It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 4 years ago from Pittsburgh and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in Greenfield. It's tough for what you get.

Jobs: The market is competitive right now, especially in tech. If you're in tech you might struggle.

People: Generally decent. It took about 5 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: surprisingly good. Tons of options if you like Asian.

Good luck with whatever you decide..
