Why I chose Bozeman over bigger cities

Been meaning to ask this. Military spouse here. The unemployment rate is 2.2%, which is pretty low. The median home value here is around $614,900, which is pretty steep. You can expect to pay around $1,611 for rent here. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Am I overthinking this? Thanks! The weather takes some getting used to. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The city has invested a lot in new development. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.

Used to live on the Lakewood side, now on the Fairview side. Completely different vibe. it's not perfect but it works for me.
