Anyone work in healthcare in Braddock?

Hi all, Born and raised here. With a population of 6,404, Braddock is a small town. It's a a small town city with about 6,404 people. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Property taxes are high but you get good services. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The weather takes some getting used to. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The city has invested a lot in new development. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The city has invested a lot in new development. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. it's been a really good experience overall. Internet is excellent in most areas.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem improving.

I've been here 3 years and it exceeded my expectations. The thing nobody mentions is public transit. It's stable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the school system is legit. And if you're into golfing, this place is surprisingly good.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Old Town side vs the The Heights side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 11 years ago from New York and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in Old Town. It's challenging for what you get.

Jobs: The market is wild right now, especially in finance. If you're in tech you might struggle.

People: Generally solid. It took about 16 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: underrated. Tons of options if you like Thai.

Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
