Just moved to Bradenton, any tips?

Longtime lurker here, Been living here since 2006. Median household income is $60,964, which feels about average for the area. Household incomes average around $60,964 in Bradenton. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The suburbs are where most families end up. Should I be concerned? Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. I'm still on the fence after all this time. Internet is solid in most areas.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 2-bedroom. it's exactly what I was looking for. Compared to San Diego it's pretty good.

Public transit is excellent here. You'll probably need a car for most things. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now.
