Hey folks, Poverty rate is 10.1%, which is around average. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.

I've been living here for 2 years and I'd say the quality of life is solid. The traffic is underrated compared to other places I've lived. Overall Hope this helps!.

We moved here with our family and I love the pace of life here. Schools in Maple Ridge area are excellent. Kids love it here.

I've lived in North for about 2 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
I love the pace of life here. When I first moved here from Austin, I was surprised by housing market. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- Decent public transit for the size
- The school system scene is pretty good
The downsides:
- Chain restaurants dominate
- Dating scene is rough
Overall I'd rate it 9/10 for retirees. It's not for everyone but it works for us..

The food scene here is better than expected. Tons of great Southern places. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad.
