Anyone else love living in Braintree Town?

Not sure if this has been asked before, but Poverty rate is 3.7%, which is pretty low. The suburbs are where most families end up. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Anyone in a similar situation? The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Property taxes are high but you get good services.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. it exceeded my expectations. Internet is better than expected in most areas.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 3 years ago from Tampa and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Older homes are where the value is. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in Old Town. It's hit or miss for what you get.

Jobs: The market is stable right now, especially in healthcare. If you're in manufacturing you might struggle.

People: Generally challenging. It took about 12 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: average. Tons of options if you like Mexican.

Hope this helps!.

My experience has been mostly positive. I have mixed feelings honestly. The only thing I'd watch out for is housing market. Other than that, Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value weather, you'll love it. The safety is genuinely average and I've found I have mixed feelings honestly. My neighborhood (Pine Hills) is reasonable and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Denver, be prepared for the culture shock. dating scene is completely different here. And Limited public transit options.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

If you value food scene, you'll love it. The public transit is genuinely average and I've found I'm still on the fence after all this time. My neighborhood (The Heights) is competitive and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Dallas, be prepared for the culture shock. healthcare is completely different here. And Summers can be brutally hot.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

We moved here with our family and the quality of life is solid. Schools in Downtown area are surprisingly good. Kids love it here.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want school system, then yeah this place is great. But if school system matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 4-bedroom. I love the pace of life here. Compared to Nashville it's better than expected.
