So, My family moved here when I was a kid. Crime rate is something to consider -Braintree Town sits at 121.2 per 100K. Poverty rate is 3.7%, which is pretty low. The unemployment rate is 2.6%, which is pretty low. The weather takes some getting used to. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. What neighborhoods would you suggest? It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The food scene here is hit or miss. Tons of great Korean places. I genuinely enjoy living here.

My experience has been mostly positive. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The only thing I'd watch out for is food scene. Other than that, Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

I've lived in Westside for about 6 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
I love the pace of life here. When I first moved here from Minneapolis, I was surprised by cultural scene. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Good schools in most areas
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- The traffic scene is average
The downsides:
- Can feel isolated
- Dating scene is rough
Overall I'd rate it 9/10 for young professionals. Feel free to reach out with questions..

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Hope this helps!.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a data analyst who relocated here from Tampa about 4 years ago. The main reasons were a job opportunity and a job opportunity.
Pros I've experienced:
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Four distinct seasons
- Diverse dining options
Cons that are real:
- Summers can be brutally hot
- Urban sprawl is real
Financially, we've found it solid compared to where we came from. The market is competitive but not impossible. Groceries are affordable, gas is improving.
Socially, it's exactly what I was looking for. It's not for everyone but it works for us..
