Thinking about relocating to Braintree Town from Phoenix
I've been here for 1 years and The median home value here is around $623,200, which is pretty steep. Homes are going for about $623,200 on average. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Does this match your experience? Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.

I've been living here for 5 years and I'd say it's improved dramatically in recent years. The walkability is challenging compared to other places I've lived. Overall Feel free to reach out with questions..

Came here for quality of life and stayed because it's exactly what I was looking for. The healthcare is honestly excellent and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Weather-wise, the summers are solid and winters are reasonable. You get used to it after the first year.

Alright, I'll give you the full rundown since I see a lot of surface-level answers here.
I've been in Westside for 11 years. Moved from San Diego for family. Here's my honest, detailed take:
**Housing:**
The market right now is surprisingly good. We bought in 2016 at k and it's now worth down slightly than that. If you're renting, expect /mo for a decent 2-bed in a safe area. Lots of new construction which should help.
**Employment:**
government is strong here. hospitality is hit or miss. If you're remote, you'll love the cost of living. Average salaries are developing for the area.
**Quality of Life:**
the quality of life is solid. The outdoor scene is surprisingly good - we have ski resorts within easy driving distance. Dining has gotten so much better in the past few years.
**Schools (if relevant):**
Varies hugely by district. Westside schools are pretty good. If you have kids, this should be your number one factor in choosing a neighborhood.
**The Bad:**
I'd be lying if I said everything is great. Limited high-paying job options. Road conditions need improvement. And walkability can be frustrating.
**Bottom line:**
For young professionals, I'd say this is a 6/10. It's not for everyone but it works for us.. Feel free to ask specific questions - happy to help.

Hot take but I have mixed feelings honestly. I know a lot of people disagree but after 15 years here, that's my honest assessment.
