Day-to-day life in Brandon, MS

Been living here since 2022. Homes are going for about $255,900 on average. You can expect to pay around $1,261 for rent here. The city has invested a lot in new development. Any advice would be great. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem pretty good.

I've been here 12 years and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The thing nobody mentions is walkability. It's manageable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the nightlife is legit. And if you're into surfing, this place is average.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The The Heights side vs the Sunset side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

We moved here with our family and it exceeded my expectations. Schools in Old Town area are hit or miss. Kids love it here.
