Best and worst neighborhoods in Brawley

Been meaning to ask this. Born and raised here. Homes are going for about $270,100 on average. The unemployment rate is 8.4%, which is concerning. It's a a smaller city city with about 26,934 people. Poverty rate is 18.3%, which is higher than I expected. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The city has invested a lot in new development. What are your go-to spots? Property taxes are high but you get good services. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.

My experience has been mostly positive. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The only thing I'd watch out for is dating scene. Other than that, Good luck with whatever you decide..
