Brazil is underrated, change my mind

Random thought, I'm originally from Boston and The median home value here is around $105,900, which is actually reasonable. Crime rate is something to consider -Brazil sits at 324.1 per 100K. It's a a small town city with about 8,064 people. Homes are going for about $105,900 on average. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Worth the trade-offs? There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The suburbs are where most families end up. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a lawyer who relocated here from Raleigh about 15 years ago. The main reasons were retirement and my partner's job.

Pros I've experienced:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Diverse dining options
- Lots of family-friendly activities

Cons that are real:
- Summers can be brutally hot
- Chain restaurants dominate

Financially, we've found it improving compared to where we came from. Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. Groceries are competitive, gas is better than expected.

Socially, I have mixed feelings honestly. It's not for everyone but it works for us..
