Job hunting in Breaux Bridge -tips?

Anyone else feel this way? I'm a college student here and Crime rate is something to consider -Breaux Bridge sits at 509.9 per 100K. With a population of 7,497, Breaux Bridge is a small town. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. TIA!

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is outdoor recreation. it's exactly what I was looking for. Worth doing your research before committing.
