Is public transit usable in Brenham?

First post here. Just moved here 6 months ago and Poverty rate is 13.0%, which is around average. Homes are going for about $223,200 on average. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Worth the trade-offs? Appreciate any input. Property taxes are high but you get good services.

I've lived in Midtown for about 15 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. When I first moved here from New York, I was surprised by cultural scene. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Close to major attractions
- The weather scene is average

The downsides:
- Can feel isolated
- Dating scene is rough

Overall I'd rate it 5/10 for retirees. Hope this helps!.
