Biggest downsides of living in Brentwood?

Hello, Poverty rate is 16.7%, which is higher than I expected. Average temperature is around 52--F, so expect cold winters. Homes are going for about $143,700 on average. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. What would you do? Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The weather takes some getting used to. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The city has invested a lot in new development. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The suburbs are where most families end up. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.

Hot take but I'm still on the fence after all this time. I know a lot of people disagree but after 8 years here, that's my honest assessment.

Bought a house here in 2017 and it's improved dramatically in recent years. Property values have gone up a bit since then.
