Homes are going for about $926,700 on average. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The food scene here is surprisingly good. What neighborhoods would you suggest? The food scene here is surprisingly good. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The weather takes some getting used to. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The weather takes some getting used to. Property taxes are high but you get good services.

My experience has been mostly positive. it's exactly what I was looking for. The only thing I'd watch out for is cost of living. Other than that, Would recommend to anyone considering it..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 15 years ago from Chicago and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in The Heights. It's pretty good for what you get.

Jobs: The market is competitive right now, especially in manufacturing. If you're in marketing you might struggle.

People: Generally better than expected. It took about 9 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: challenging. Tons of options if you like seafood.

Would recommend to anyone considering it..
