Longtime lurker here, I'm a 30-year-old physical therapist and Crime rate is something to consider -Bressler sits at 65.0 per 100K. Average temperature is around 55--F, so the weather is moderate. The weather takes some getting used to. The city has invested a lot in new development. The food scene here is surprisingly good.

OK I'm going to write a proper review because I've seen too many incomplete answers.
Background: I'm a physical therapist, 27, moved here 11 years ago from Pittsburgh. I've lived in Greenfield and Springfield, and traveled to most parts of the metro.
**What I love:**
1. Growing food and restaurant scene
2. Good schools in most areas
3. Decent public transit for the size
4. The people are generally tough - I found my community within the first year
**What I don't love:**
1. Winters are long and cold
2. Homeless population growing downtown
3. The traffic situation is affordable and doesn't seem to be improving
**Neighborhoods I'd recommend:**
- Greenfield: Great for singles. hit or miss vibes, walkable.
- Springfield: More affordable, family-friendly.
**Neighborhoods I'd avoid:**
- Without naming names, stay away from areas east of downtown until you know the city better.
**Cost comparison:**
Coming from Pittsburgh, everything felt decent. Rent is about /mo. Groceries are competitive. Gas is growing. You can live comfortably on $50K-$130K here.
**Final verdict:**
No regrets on my end.. It's not perfect - nowhere is - but for the price point and quality of life, it's hard to beat. DM me if you have specific questions.

We moved here with our family and it exceeded my expectations. Schools in Fairview area are surprisingly good. Kids love it here.
