Anyone else feel this way? I'm retired and Median household income is $51,490, which feels on the lower side for the area. Poverty rate is 9.1%, which is pretty low. Crime rate is something to consider -Brewer sits at 33.3 per 100K. It's a a small town city with about 9,654 people. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Thoughts? Appreciate any input. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.
