Rent vs buy in Briar Chapel -what makes sense?

I'm a teacher here and You can expect to pay around $2,941 for rent here. Average temperature is around 60--F, so the weather is moderate. Household incomes average around $154,583 in Briar Chapel. Crime rate is something to consider -Briar Chapel sits at 146.0 per 100K. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.

Pros:
- Low crime in most areas
- Diverse community
- Easy commute
- Lots of new development

Cons:
- Limited nightlife
- Lack of diversity
- Few job opportunities in some fields

There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The weather takes some getting used to. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The suburbs are where most families end up. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The food scene here is surprisingly good. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want outdoor recreation, then yeah this place is great. But if school system matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.
