Curious what people think. I've been here for 7 years and With a population of 2,377, Bridgeport is a small town. Rent is about $501/month for a decent place. Crime rate is something to consider -Bridgeport sits at 347.7 per 100K. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. What are your go-to spots? Cheers. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.

I've lived in Pine Hills for about 13 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
it was the best decision I ever made. When I first moved here from Raleigh, I was surprised by traffic. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Good airport with direct flights
- Diverse dining options
- The healthcare scene is pretty good
The downsides:
- Rising rent and home prices
- Far from beaches/mountains
Overall I'd rate it 9/10 for couples. Hope this helps!.

the quality of life is solid. When I first moved here from Minneapolis, I was surprised by school system. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- The dating scene scene is underrated
The downsides:
- Property taxes are high
- Not a lot of cultural diversity
Overall I'd rate it 8/10 for singles. It's not for everyone but it works for us..
