Bridgeport housing prices — when will it stop?

Curious what people think. Crime rate is something to consider — Bridgeport sits at 581.8 per 100K. Median household income is $56,584, which feels about average for the area. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Cheers. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are underrated, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

I'm a chef and I've found it's exactly what I was looking for. The community is tough and there's always something going on.

I've lived in Pine Hills for about 13 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I genuinely enjoy living here. When I first moved here from Charlotte, I was surprised by public transit. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- Nice parks and green spaces
- The walkability scene is tough

The downsides:
- Property taxes are high
- Bugs and humidity in summer

Overall I'd rate it 9/10 for couples. Would recommend to anyone considering it..
