Just moved to Bridgeport, any tips?

Anyone else feel this way? My partner and I are Crime rate is something to consider — Bridgeport sits at 581.8 per 100K. Poverty rate is 18.3%, which is higher than I expected. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Has anyone dealt with this?

I work in education here and I love the pace of life here. The job market for my field is pretty good. It's not for everyone but it works for us..
