Rent prices in Bridgeport getting crazy

Anyone else noticing rent going up fast in Bridgeport? Over the last year, I feel like prices went up at least 10-15%. I'm paying $1405 for a 2BR which feels okay for the area.

Are there any neighborhoods that are still affordable? Thinking about moving to a cheaper area.

The food scene here is seriously underrated. So many great restaurants.

Great post! One thing I'd mention is the west side tends to be more affordable. Makes a big difference.

Great post! One thing I'd mention is drive around neighborhoods at different times before committing. Makes a big difference.

Been here 20 years. The city has changed a lot but overall for the better.

Traffic is the worst part honestly. But if you live near work it's fine.

Coming from New York, the cost of living difference is noticeable. Groceries and gas are cheaper.

I've lived in Highland Park for 6 years and it's a hidden gem honestly.

Downtown is overrated and overpriced. The suburbs offer way better value.
