How is the nightlife in Bridgeport?
Not sure if this has been asked before, but Median household income is $50,284, which feels on the lower side for the area.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem challenging.
I've been here 12 years and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The thing nobody mentions is cultural scene. It's competitive and it affects daily life more than you'd think.
That said, the pet-friendliness is legit. And if you're into running, this place is pretty good.
Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The East side vs the South side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
Definitely worth checking out..

Housing: Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in Highland. It's better than expected for what you get.
Jobs: The market is established right now, especially in marketing. If you're in engineering you might struggle.
People: Generally hit or miss. It took about 12 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: average. Tons of options if you like craft beer.
Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

We moved here with our family and I genuinely enjoy living here. Schools in Lakewood area are hit or miss. Kids love it here.
