Is public transit usable in Bridgeport?

Longtime lurker here, The median home value here is around $162,500, which is actually reasonable. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Should I be concerned? Night life is decent if you know the right spots. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.

Public transit is tough here. You'll probably need a car for most things. I love the pace of life here.
