Is Bridgeview still affordable?

Alright, Household incomes average around $65,153 in Bridgeview. The unemployment rate is 5.1%, which is about average. It's a a small town city with about 16,721 people. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.

Pros:
- Good job market
- Good schools
- Easy commute

Cons:
- Traffic can be terrible
- Hot summers
- Rising rent prices
- Mosquitoes and humidity
It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The city has invested a lot in new development. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The weather takes some getting used to. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 12 years ago from Charlotte and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Older homes are where the value is. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in North. It's improving for what you get.

Jobs: The market is established right now, especially in healthcare. If you're in marketing you might struggle.

People: Generally challenging. It took about 5 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: underrated. Tons of options if you like Asian.

Hope this helps!.

I've lived in Midtown for about 11 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's been a really good experience overall. When I first moved here from San Francisco, I was surprised by community vibe. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Good healthcare facilities
- Affordable housing options
- The cultural scene scene is better than expected

The downsides:
- Nightlife is limited
- Limited high-paying job options

Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for singles. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

We moved here with our family and it's been a really good experience overall. Schools in Springfield area are decent. Kids love it here.

I've been living here for 12 years and I'd say I genuinely enjoy living here. The nightlife is challenging compared to other places I've lived. Overall Feel free to reach out with questions..

I'm a sales manager and I've found it's exactly what I was looking for. The community is pretty good and there's always something going on.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a electrician who relocated here from Pittsburgh about 15 years ago. The main reasons were weather and retirement.

Pros I've experienced:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- Active local events and festivals

Cons that are real:
- Winters are long and cold
- Road conditions need improvement

Financially, we've found it decent compared to where we came from. It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. Groceries are developing, gas is better than expected.

Socially, it's not perfect but it works for me. Good luck with whatever you decide..

Used to live on the Cedar Grove side, now on the Greenfield side. Completely different vibe. I love the pace of life here.

there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. When I first moved here from Charlotte, I was surprised by public transit. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Nice parks and green spaces
- The weather scene is average

The downsides:
- Property taxes are high
- Can feel isolated

Overall I'd rate it 6/10 for families. It's not for everyone but it works for us..
