Thinking about relocating to Bridgeville from Dallas

We're a young couple and You can expect to pay around $933 for rent here. The median home value here is around $157,700, which is actually reasonable. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Let me know your thoughts. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The food scene here is surprisingly good. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem decent.

I've been here 6 years and I'm still on the fence after all this time. The thing nobody mentions is traffic. It's wild and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the school system is legit. And if you're into fishing, this place is challenging.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Lakewood side vs the The Heights side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

Public transit is solid here. You'll probably need a car for most things. it's not perfect but it works for me.

Bought a house here in 2019 and it's not perfect but it works for me. Property values have gone about the same since then.
