Job hunting in Briggs -tips?

Not sure if this has been asked before, but I've been here for 14 years and Crime rate is something to consider -Briggs sits at 248.5 per 100K. The median home value here is around $108,300, which is actually reasonable. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

I've lived in Eastside for about 8 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I have mixed feelings honestly. When I first moved here from Pittsburgh, I was surprised by housing market. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Good airport with direct flights
- The cultural scene scene is pretty good

The downsides:
- Traffic during rush hour is rough
- Limited high-paying job options

Overall I'd rate it 5/10 for families. It's not for everyone but it works for us..

Weather-wise, the summers are average and winters are stable. You get used to it after the first year.
