Hey, I'm single, late 30s, and Average temperature is around 50--F, so expect cold winters. Crime rate is something to consider -Brigham City sits at 209.3 per 100K. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. What do you all think?

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 5 years ago from Chicago and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in Greenfield. It's improving for what you get.
Jobs: The market is wild right now, especially in education. If you're in healthcare you might struggle.
People: Generally surprisingly good. It took about 12 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: hit or miss. Tons of options if you like Asian.
Hope this helps!.

I work in marketing here and it's been a really good experience overall. The job market for my field is decent. Feel free to reach out with questions..

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 2-bedroom. I genuinely enjoy living here. Compared to Houston it's average.
