Best kept secrets of Brighton, NY

Hey, I relocated for work and Average temperature is around 50--F, so expect cold winters. Property taxes are high but you get good services. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

Weather-wise, the summers are average and winters are growing. You get used to it after the first year.

I'm a data analyst and I've found it's been a really good experience overall. The community is hit or miss and there's always something going on.
