Brighton vs Albuquerque -which is better?

Hi all, The median home value here is around $259,300, which seems about average. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 10 years ago from Denver and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Highland. It's surprisingly good for what you get.

Jobs: The market is stable right now, especially in government. If you're in engineering you might struggle.

People: Generally challenging. It took about 15 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: excellent. Tons of options if you like Mediterranean.
