OK so Military spouse here. Median household income is $77,589, which feels about average for the area. It's a a small town city with about 2,865 people. With a population of 2,865, Brighton is a small town. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Is this normal for Brighton? I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The suburbs are where most families end up. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.
