Moving to Bristol with kids -good idea?

Not sure if this has been asked before, but I'm originally from Nashville and You can expect to pay around $1,305 for rent here. The median home value here is around $252,300, which seems about average. Average temperature is around 50--F, so expect cold winters. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The food scene here is surprisingly good. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The weather takes some getting used to. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The suburbs are where most families end up. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.

I've been living here for 3 years and I'd say there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The cultural scene is excellent compared to other places I've lived. Overall Feel free to reach out with questions..

I've lived in Westside for about 2 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's exactly what I was looking for. When I first moved here from San Diego, I was surprised by community vibe. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Nice parks and green spaces
- The walkability scene is improving

The downsides:
- Traffic during rush hour is rough
- Limited entertainment options

Overall I'd rate it 9/10 for singles. Would recommend to anyone considering it..

Hot take but I'm still on the fence after all this time. I know a lot of people disagree but after 6 years here, that's my honest assessment.

I've lived in Midtown for about 12 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's been a really good experience overall. When I first moved here from Houston, I was surprised by cost of living. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Four distinct seasons
- The healthcare scene is better than expected

The downsides:
- Not a lot of cultural diversity
- Chain restaurants dominate

Overall I'd rate it 9/10 for remote workers. Hope this helps!.
