The good and bad of living in Bristol

Been meaning to ask this. Crime rate is something to consider -Bristol sits at 88.4 per 100K. It's a a smaller city city with about 61,129 people. Household incomes average around $83,458 in Bristol. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. What would you do? It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The weather takes some getting used to. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, it's not perfect but it works for me. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

As someone who grew up here, the quality of life is solid. A lot has changed in the past few years though. outdoor recreation used to be much developing but now it's hit or miss.
