Is Bristol good for remote workers?

Hi all, I grew up here but left for a while. With a population of 1,249, Bristol is a small town. Household incomes average around $48,643 in Bristol. Rent is about $944/month for a decent place. The median home value here is around $124,500, which is actually reasonable. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Let me know your thoughts. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The food scene here is surprisingly good. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.

My experience has been mostly positive. it's been a really good experience overall. The only thing I'd watch out for is healthcare. Other than that, Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value walkability, you'll love it. The outdoor recreation is genuinely solid and I've found I have mixed feelings honestly. My neighborhood (Highland) is pricey and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Atlanta, be prepared for the culture shock. dating scene is completely different here. And Winters are long and cold.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.
