Job hunting in Bristol -tips?

I'm single, late 50s, and Homes are going for about $182,500 on average. The unemployment rate is 4.3%, which is about average. It's a a smaller city city with about 27,490 people. Rent is about $764/month for a decent place. The median home value here is around $182,500, which is actually reasonable. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Is this normal for Bristol? Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The weather takes some getting used to. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The weather takes some getting used to. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.

As someone who grew up here, I'm still on the fence after all this time. A lot has changed in the past few years though. housing market used to be much competitive but now it's solid.
