Best and worst neighborhoods in Bristol

Average temperature is around 54--F, so expect cold winters. Rent is about $775/month for a decent place. The weather takes some getting used to. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. What would you do? Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

We moved here with our family and the quality of life is solid. Schools in Oak Park area are solid. Kids love it here.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 12 years ago from Raleigh and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Older homes are where the value is. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in Sunset. It's pretty good for what you get.

Jobs: The market is affordable right now, especially in retail. If you're in healthcare you might struggle.

People: Generally pretty good. It took about 13 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: solid. Tons of options if you like Asian.

Happy to answer more specific questions..
