Anyone work in healthcare in Broadlands?

Just moved here 13 months ago and Crime rate is something to consider -Broadlands sits at 118.6 per 100K. Median household income is $235,491, which feels pretty solid for the area. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. What do you all think?

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a physical therapist who relocated here from Tampa about 3 years ago. The main reasons were work and cost of living.

Pros I've experienced:
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Decent public transit for the size
- Four distinct seasons

Cons that are real:
- Not very walkable outside downtown
- Property taxes are high

Financially, we've found it underrated compared to where we came from. Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. Groceries are wild, gas is underrated.

Socially, it was the best decision I ever made. Definitely worth checking out..

Moved here from Portland about 9 years ago. I genuinely enjoy living here. Still getting used to outdoor recreation but Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
