First post here. I'm retired and Household incomes average around $49,531 in Brodhead. Poverty rate is 6.4%, which is pretty low. It's a a small town city with about 3,205 people. Median household income is $49,531, which feels on the lower side for the area. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.
