Job market in Broken Arrow for tech?

Curious what people think. Median household income is $85,220, which feels pretty solid for the area. Crime rate is something to consider -Broken Arrow sits at 124.9 per 100K. The median home value here is around $229,300, which is actually reasonable. You can expect to pay around $1,240 for rent here. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Is this normal for Broken Arrow? Looking forward to hearing from you all. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem surprisingly good.

I've been here 12 years and it's exactly what I was looking for. The thing nobody mentions is food scene. It's established and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the nightlife is legit. And if you're into skiing, this place is underrated.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Cedar Grove side vs the Pine Hills side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Feel free to reach out with questions..

Used to live on the Maple Ridge side, now on the Midtown side. Completely different vibe. it's been a really good experience overall.

Bought a house here in 2019 and it's not perfect but it works for me. Property values have gone up significantly since then.

I've been here 11 years and it exceeded my expectations. The thing nobody mentions is traffic. It's competitive and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Midtown side vs the West side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Hope this helps!.
